Oracle Database - SERVICE_NAMES parameter

About

The service name is specified by the SERVICE_NAMES initialization parameter.

If you do not specify a service name for a database, the service name will default to the database's global name: a name comprising the database name (DB_NAME initialization parameter) and domain name (DB_DOMAIN initialization parameter).
